Properties: white crystalline powder. Soluble in methanol, ethanol, tetrahydrofuran, acetone and other organic solvents. Solubility in water 5mg / L. Toxicity LD50 (mg / kg): the acute oral dose of rats is more than 2000 technical drug / kg, and that of mice is more than 1000 mg technical drug / kg. Ames test showed no mutagenic effect

Purpose: biochemical research. Low toxicity crop growth regulator. It can show various activities at low concentration (10-5 ~ 10-6mg / L), which can increase plant vegetative growth and promote fertilization. These compounds have been isolated from dozens of planting objects with very low content, such as indoleacetic acid (IAA) and abscisic acid (ABA) about 2mg/kg and 60mg/kg respectively, while brassinolide is only 0.1mg/kg. Soaking seeds with 24h of 0.05 ~ 0.5mg/L brassinolide to promote the growth of root and plant height, fertilizing leaves at tillering stage, increasing tiller number, and spraying or soaking seeds at 0.01 to 0.02, 0.01 to 0.02 (750L/ha times) and 0.01 to 0.04mg/L (750L/ha second) at booting stage.
