Definition of activity: under the condition of 50 ºC and ph4.8, the enzyme quantity of 1G enzyme powder (or 1ml enzyme solution) hydrolyzing substrate (filter paper, CMC, absorbent cotton or salicylin) for 1min to produce 1 μ g glucose is 1 enzyme activity unit
Properties: light yellow powder or white freeze-dried powder, soluble in water. It can act on 1,4-β-d-glucoside bond in cellulose. PH 4.0-5.0, suitable for 4.8, depending on the substrate. The operating temperature range is 40-50 ºC. In general, the dosage is 0.05% of the weight of the substrate. Please determine the best dosage according to the test. Activators include magnesium, calcium phosphate and neutral salts. The inhibitors are cellobiose, glucose and methylcellulose.
Uses: biochemical research, plant cell hybridization research, catalytic hydrolysis of cellulose molecules, production of fiber oligosaccharides, cellobiose and glucose. In the reactants, the accumulation of disaccharides can inhibit the enzymatic hydrolysis process. It can cleave the endo-1,4-β-d-glycoside bond from cellulose, lichen polysaccharide, barley glucan and fibrin oligosaccharide to fibrin hexasaccharide. It can not cut cellobiose or p-nitrobenzene-β-d-glucoside. This enzyme can also cut Glycosaminoglycan from polypeptide center by breaking down the serine bond of xyloside
