Properties: Pale yellow powder, produced by Penicillium metabolism. The xylanase molecule contains only one subunit. Proteins with a molecular weight ranging from 8 to 30 kD are alkaline proteins, while those with a molecular weight ranging from 30 to 145 kD are acidic proteins
Usage: Biochemical research. Xylanase is the most crucial hydrolase in the xylan hydrolase system. By hydrolyzing the β-1, 4-glycosidic bonds of xylan molecules, it hydrolyzes xylan into low xylans such as xyloligosaccharides and xyldisaccharides, as well as a small amount of xylan and arabinose
