Traits: Liquid, SP6 ribonucleic acid polymerase is a DNA-dependent polymerase, which is highly specific for the SP6 promoter sequence. Using this enzyme to synthesize RNA, only SP6 DNA or DNA cloned downstream of the SP6 promoter can be used as a synthesis template. The enzyme can use 32P, 35S and 3H labeled nucleoside triphosphates as substrates

Synthesize labeled and unlabeled RNA for hybridization and in vitro RNA translation; as a substrate for RNA, siRNA, RNase digestion protection analysis and as a template for genomic DNA sequencing; study the secondary structure of RNA and RNA-protein interactions, RNA Splicing; synthesis of labeled RNA probes for blotting experiments, in situ hybridization, microarray hybridization
