Properties: transparent fine particles or white to yellowish powder. Almost completely soluble in twice the weight of water. Solubility in 100g saturated solution: 37G at 25 ºC, 38g at 50 ºC and 40g at 90 ºC. The aqueous solution is acidic to litmus and soluble in glycerol and propylene glycol, but completely dissolved (about 5%) has to be heated for several days and insoluble in ethanol.
