Product usage: Used for isolation and culture of salmonella in feed.
Test principle:
Peptone provides carbon source and nitrogen source; Sodium chloride maintains a balanced osmotic pressure; Lactose and sucrose are fermentable sugars. The phenol-red indicator was yellow at pH6.8, pink at pH8.1, yellow at fermenting sugar acid-producing colonies, and red at non-fermenting sugar colonies. Brilliant green inhibits Gram-positive bacteria and most non-Salmonella Gram-negative bacteria, usually inhibits bacteria that ferments lactose and sucrose; AGAR is a coagulant for medium.
Usage
Weigh 54.7 grams of this product, boil and dissolve in 1000ml distilled water, cool to 50-55ºC, pour into a sterile plate. No need to autoclave, use on the same day of preparation.
